Does SwipePhotos upload my photos anywhere?

No. Everything happens on your device. SwipePhotos reads from your Apple Photos library using the system API, makes decisions locally, and only moves photos to the Apple Recently Deleted album when you confirm. We have no servers that touch your photos.

What happens to photos I delete?

They go to Apple's Recently Deleted album for 30 days, where you can recover them. SwipePhotos never force-deletes anything. At any point during swiping you can hit undo to roll back your last 20 decisions.
