Your photos never leave this page. Conversion runs in your browser — no upload, no account, no watermark.
How it works

Three simple steps.

  1. 01

    Drop a photo

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC. We show it with a draggable crop box overlay.

  2. 02

    Drag the crop box

Move and resize the box. Pick an aspect lock (1:1, 16:9, 4:5, 9:16) or freehand. Pinch-zoom on mobile, scroll-wheel on desktop.

  3. 03

    Download the cropped photo

Original quality preserved. The full original is on your disk untouched — only the crop downloads.

Questions about this tool

Good — here are the answers.

What aspect ratio should my profile picture be?

Square (1:1). Most platforms display profile pics as circles, so center the subject. We have a 1:1 preset that snaps to that.

What's the difference between cropping and resizing?

Cropping cuts off part of the photo — the leftover is what you keep. Resizing keeps the entire photo but changes its pixel dimensions. Use the cropper to change the framing; use the resizer to change the file size for a specific platform.

Can I crop to a circle?

Most platforms (Instagram, Slack, etc.) display square crops as circles automatically. If you need a true circular crop (with transparent corners), crop to 1:1 first, then use the background remover or a design tool to mask the corners.

Will I lose quality cropping?

No. Cropping is lossless — we just save fewer pixels. Quality of the remaining pixels is identical to the original.

Can I crop multiple photos to the same dimensions?

Yes — drop multiple photos and we'll apply the same aspect-lock to each, then download a zip with all cropped versions.
